Whether your goal is to move livestock on your farm or move livestock through a trial course, your dog needs to understand his role.  Only through diligent and consistent training can your dog understand what it is you are asking of him and reach his full potential.

Woods End Stockdogs offers a 50' round pen, a 60' x 90' arena, a 130' x 240' arena, and a 4 acre pasture for training on sheep.  The 130' x 240' arena is lighted.  The sheep are Katahdin/Barbados cross.  Sheep are available for any training level, ranging from heavy sheep for the novice dog/handler to very light for the more advanced.

Woods End also offers an indoor facility for training on ducks.  Completely enclosed and lighted, this facility is available in any weather.  The ducks are Indian Runners.

Woods End Stockdogs is pleased to announce it's new extended stay accomodations, where a handler (or groups of handlers) can come in and train on sheep for as many days as they would like.  A 3 bedroom/2 bath house (fully furnished) is available for out of town guests.  More information and detail is forthcoming on this new amenity.

Boarding and personal training by Doyle is available by request.
